Nonprofit organizations that en- gage in political advocacy or that bring legalactionsorwhoseprimaryactivities are in response to government RFPs are not eligible for this award nor are individual charter or private schools. Five awards are presented annually. Beginning in 2007 these prizes will include one $100000 grand prizeThe William E. Simon Awardand four others of $25000 each. These will be presented to the organization founded or led by the award winner. Nomina- tions may be submitted by anyone familiar with a persons or groups activities except for a current employee of that person or group.
