An academic planner is an excellent organizational tool that allows you to keep track of homework assignments due dates and upcoming exams. Record major events like 4 oclocks and paper due dates. Weekly Planner. The weekly planner provides a visual way of seeing your optimal studying times within the fixed commitments. The planner is used to fill-in your schedule for the week. You schedule your fixed weekly commitments your commitments for the particular week your social activities and finally study/HW time (being specific about when and what you will study). Monthly Calendar. The monthly calendar is especially effective for those individuals who like a visual display of their long-term commitments. Similar to the academic yearly planner this method enables you to keep track of homework assignments due dates and upcoming exams but also does it a broader perspective. To Do Lists. To do lists are excellent ways to keep track of what needs to be done and to prioritize your tasks.
