Content Inside: ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS MINOR Environmental Economics: 15 credit hours and a GPA of at least 2.0 in courses counted toward the minor. Students must select 15 credit hours of courses with an environment component: one course on environmental problems or issues (3 cr hr); three courses in environmental and resource economics (9 cr hr); and one course on law policy or analysis (3 cr hr). Eligible courses include: environmental problems or issues (ARE 187 ENVP 155 or FOR 140); environmental and resource economics (ARE 220 401 and 410); and law policy or analysis (ARE 382 ARE 450 or RESM 493). Minor Code: U053 This minor gives students skills aimed specifically at policy issues in environmental and natural resource economics. It can enhance employment opportunities in government agencies and private consulting firms dealing with environmental and natural resource policy or with natural resources firms. The specific minor course requirements are flexible to allow students to create strength in a particular are of experience such as water air energy raw materials etc. Contact: Professor Alan R.
