One project represents reporting of daily production by machine as well as consolidation of production for both mills. The application integrates process control readings through the Majiq Production Management System; Web-based manual inputs by managers; and automated processing algorithms to carry forward month-to-date figures. On-demand production reports can also be created dynamically via the Web based on a date range. Another application features a web-based query result screen for the customer service and sales department. Users can enter a paper grade and basis weight and obtain immediate results on which weeks that paper is being produced number of tons targeted for shipping and inventory and the available capacity for each paper machine in either mill. The program also includes a custom program that allows production scheduling to be manipulated. An administrator can enter or edit a production schedule for any paper grade and basis weight and alter how often it is produced (weekly biweekly monthly etc.) the target production in tons how much stock to produce preferred mill for production etc. In collaboration with another consulting group B.I.T.S. is providing the necessary data collection and graphing associated with comparing projected sales production targets and shipment data with actual figures.
