Content Inside: Career Progression of Minority and Women Officers Office of the Under Secretary of Defense Personnel and Readiness iii Foreword Foreword This report had its genesis in a series of Secretary of Defense initiatives to build on past equal opportunity successes in the Department of Defense and the Military Services. Policy review and direction were provided by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Management Policy.
