Group skills if a team approach is used 3. An overall organized strategy 4. Alternatives for specific steps in the strategy (contradic- tion reasoning by analogy working backwards solving a simpler problem first etc.) 5. Knowledge of heuristics or "rules of thumb" that offer suggestions about what to do next. 6. Ability to create to generalize and to simplify.
